Hello, Everyone,
Wishing everyone a nice weekend, whether it's the final days of break, or whether it's just another weekend. For me, it's the final days of break, and I'll probably exert more energy than I have the rest of the break. I needed to do this first. Oh, well, I put in for a vacation day on Monday so I could recuperate. I figure if I don't need it, I can always go ahead and come in and save the vacation day for later.
My favorite thing to do on this trip is innertubing down a hill that leads to a frozen pond. Hopefully, they have snow there. I guess last year, one of the two years I didn't go...wasn't in much of a mood with an impending divorce, they didn't have snow. It was the first time ever in all the years we've gone. But someone called up there a few days ago, and they didn't have snow yet. So, I'm hoping...
I had a guestbook entry from someone I've never heard from before. She wrote some encouraging words and said, "Fake it until you make it." I like that! I think that will be my new mantra!
Well, anyway, this will be it for at least a couple of days.
